Last week, the huge concrete beams were lifted in northern Ibn Gabirol, and construction of the Yarkon Bridge on the Green Line of the light rail has kicked into high gear. The bridge will also include the Reading Light Rail Station and a pedestrian and cyclist bridge that will hitch a ride and reconnect Ibn Gabirol to Yarkon Park.

The project includes a section of road that extends four kilometers, from the Giborei Yisrael intersection in Netanya to Hadassim Square. The new road is a wide road that will connect Highway 2 (Netanya) to Highway 4 (Hadasim).

Work has begun to establish a public transportation lane on Highway 60, which is heavily congested during peak hours.

The Shamir Project, one of the significant transportation projects to alleviate traffic congestion at the entrance to the city and on the bridge leading from Olga Hill, has been opened for testing.

The Yitzhak Shamir project will be a new, regulated entrance to the city of Hadera from the coastal road (Highway 2), in the section between the Ariel Sharon Bridge and the Olga Interchange.

The section of the road upgraded to three lanes between the Yagur Interchange and the Zevulun Intersection has been opened to traffic.

Following the opening of the section, the road, which crosses the Jezreel Valley, became a highway.

An underground passage was inaugurated that should help facilitate the comfortable passage of pedestrians and buses during the holiday and revelry.

The grade separation project in Kfar Yehoshua, which included the implementation of grade separation and the widening of Highway 553 from single-lane two-way to two-lane, with lane separation, was completed about five months ahead of schedule.
